Frederick Polgardy

Fred is a fifteen-year veteran of web technologies who brings a unique, full-stack perspective to user experience development.

As a consultant on numerous web projects, Fred became frustrated with the way JavaScript and front-end development was typically "practiced" — as an afterthought to an otherwise well-designed, testable system. He has made it his mission to master the dark corners of JavaScript, and teach it as a first-class citizen among programming languages.

When he's not making client projects more awesome, you can find him digging around in NodeJS and JavaScriptMVC, reading philosophy, composing or arranging choral music, or traveling with his family.

Fred is a recognized leader in the Chicago JavaScript community and frequent speaker at JS.Chi.
